Aim of General Nursing Programme

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training Course is of 3 years duration with English as the medium of instruction. Apart from theoretical training in classrooms, practical hospital training would be of paramount importance. The course shall also include field training in community nursing and midwifery. The General Nursing & Midwifery program aims at preparing nursing professionals.

WHAT AFTER GNM ?

The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) training Course is of 3 years duration with English as the medium of instruction. Apart from theoretical training in classrooms, practical hospital training would be of paramount importance. The course shall also include field training in community nursing and midwifery. The General Nursing & Midwifery program aims at preparing nursing professionals.

One can work at Hospitals, Private clinics, Schools, and Rehabilitation centers as Homecare Nurse, infection control Nurse, ICU Nurse, and OT Nurse.

One can also study further for Post Basic Nursing (which would make it equivalent to Bsc Nursing) after which they can even work in Educational institutions besides Hospitals.

Course Duration:- 3 Years

Eligibility:- 10+2 with 40% marks in any stream.
Age:- 17 years to 35 Years
